Do you have problems in your business? Systematic problem solving is a tool to eliminate your problems for good.

Fredrik Forsberg spent last week in Johannesburg, South Africa delivering a training in systematic problem solving at a client’s production site. The training took the participants through the problem-solving process by mixing theory and working on actual problems at production site.

The participants spent time, energy and frustration in the first and most important step of the process that is to define and scope the problem. When the problem was defined, they moved over to finding the root causes using fishbone diagram and 5 why. The root causes are then used to identify the most effective countermeasures.

The use of actual problem statements from the site creates a great combination of theory and practical use of the theory. In additions valuable inputs and potential solutions to the problems were delivered by the team!
